World's most sustainable companies
Banco BPM is among the 500 companies of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2025 ranking, compiled by TIME and Statista to identify organizations worldwide that stand out for their concrete commitment and results in environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.
Among the 22 Italian companies featured in the ranking, Banco BPM ranks fourth in the “Banking, Insurance & Financial Services” sector, confirming its position as one of the Italian institutions most engaged in promoting sustainable and responsible business models.
The ranking is the result of an independent analysis conducted by TIME and Statista on publicly available data for 2023, measuring the progress made by leading global companies toward their sustainability goals. The assessment is based on both quantitative and qualitative indicators, taking into account factors such as the reduction of emissions and consumption, responsible resource management, respect for human rights, transparency of corporate policies, and the social contribution of businesses.
