Social and Charity

In 2023, we continued to support the weakest segments of the population, also on the inclusion front, with several initiatives throughout Italy that involved people with disabilities, the sick and families in need.
Our support went to Foundations, Non-profit Organizations and Associations for projects that aimed to support minors and families in difficulty or to educate through training courses. We also supported Festivals, events and initiatives that focused, through music, art and dance, on the theme of fragility.
Our support for raising awareness on very delicate and current issues such as economic and financial violence against women was not lacking.

After the project promoted by Banco BPM with Caritas Italiana in 2022 in favor of the populations victims of the war in Ukraine, in 2023 a new emergency required the commitment of Banco BPM and Caritas Italiana who, once again together, took action to support the communities of the territories affected by the floods in central-northern Italy in May 2023.
In particular, we allocated a contribution to Caritas Italiana that allowed it to support some projects in Emilia-Romagna also through the local diocesan Caritas.
